project Abstract

Have you ever wondered what’s really in a Dentist’s tool tray? Or what kind of gear do Radiologists use to read your X-ray? My project dives into the behind-the-scenes world of healthcare by building custom medical kits, making infographic books, and informative videos for different medical professions, including: Dentists, Dermatologists, Pharmacists, Anesthesiologists, Surgeons, Radiologists, and even Culinary Doctors (yes, that’s a thing!). Each kit shows what that job is all about, from the tools and protective gear to the real daily challenges they face. My goal is to show how important these medical jobs are, as well as help people understand them better!

While working on my project, I reached out to many healthcare professionals for guidance and advice. Their insights were incredibly valuable and helped me better understand the importance of the topics I’m sharing with you, I wanted to make sure the information I presented was accurate, meaningful, and helpful, which wouldn’t have been possible without their support. I’m truly grateful to all the professionals who took the time to speak with me, answer my questions, and offer their expertise. I also want to thank everyone who encouraged and supported me throughout this journey. Your help made a big difference, and I’m excited to now share what I’ve learned with all of you!

ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m a senior at Severn School with a passion for medicine. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been drawn to the idea of helping people and making a difference through healthcare. With this project, I want to share that passion and show just how important medicine is in our everyday lives. My hope is to inspire younger students, especially those in middle and early high school, to see how exciting and meaningful a future in medicine can be.

    Would love your feedback!
